Tai Chi Master

A certified teacher of Yeung Style Tai Chi in Rhode Island since 1999 I travel to Hong Kong each year for Tai Chi lessons with fellow students and members of the Yeung Mah Lee Student Association (see: ritaichi.com).

Since 1988, a student of John Conroy at the Rhode Island School of Tai Chi (see: ritaichi.com). Mr Conroy is the disciple of Chu Gin Soon and a member of the Yeung Mah Lee Student Association.

During the 1990's, I worked with nationally recognized furniture maker, Hank Gilpin. As a part of my training, I designed and made Tai Chi swords and staffs.

In 1982 I began my studies of Yeung Style Tai Chi with Chu Gin Soon (2nd disciple of Yeung Sau Chung) in Boston (1982-1987).

Beginning in 1972, I studied Uechi Ryu Karate under the guidance of Motoo Yamakura (72'-76'), Walter Mattson (76'-78') and Jon Mills (78'-85') achieving the rank of Sandan.

 

Reflexologist

I was first introduced to Foot Reflexology as a result of my Tai Chi Teacher's travels to Hong Kong in the 1990's.

In 2003, I was certified in the Universal Method of foot reflexology by Terri Magnon at The Center for Universal Reflexology in Rhode Island.

Father Josef Eugster of Taiwan trained and certified me in the FJM method of foot reflexology (FJMreflexology.com) during certificatio seminars between 2003 and 2005.

In 2006, I also received certification in hand reflexology from the Center for Universal Reflexology in Rhode Island. I maintain a practice in Providence, Rhode Island. I also practice foot reflexology in Wellesley, MA.
