Tai Chi, which originated in China 500 years ago, is a system of exercise which encourages rhythmic and controlled movement.

A Major focus of these exercises, as taught by The Yeung Mah-Lee Student Assoc. (see: ritaichi.com), is the softening of all the connecting tissues in all our joints beginning with the spine. This creates a feeling of relaxation and suppleness throughout the body enhancing the flow of our natural energies (chi) and helping all who practice achieve better health.

Providence Tai Chi teaches all age groups in many different settings, including the privacy of their homes.
